OutBoise Magazine asked me to shoot the Add the Words Rally at the Idaho state capitol. It was a huge turnout and there was all sorts of press covering the event. I assumed that one of the photographers doing close shots up on the stage were also working for OutBoise. So I chose to shoot from a static position on the liberty bell to get some continuity shots. This is just a small sample of the shots that I captured of this event.

I photographed another fantastic Story Story Night at the end of December. This time around the theme was Trains, Planes and Automobiles. The story tellers regaled the packed crowd with their tales of traveling and the challenges of getting places. I had a great time shooting this event.

There's a new show opening up at Boise Little Theater on January 9th. It's the family comedy Squabbles and it's a fun group of actors and crew. The set was still under construction while I was doing this shoot and so the challenge was to omit the parts that were still being built. All in all I have to say that it went very well.

I was commisioned by the city of Meridian to shoot their holiday parade. It was certainly challenging to shoot a moving parade in the dark. The fog was another interesting factor. I later jokingly described this more as an art project than a documentary shoot. Still, I got some very interesting pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

It's back to the regular season for Story Story Night but this year we have a new venue. Now we are at the El Korah Shriner's Temple. It's a really nice place with a lot of history. The really nice thing is the place was packed. Fortunately there was carpeted space along the sides of the room for the overflow seating. The stories were great this time and it all was a lot of fun.
