It's that time of the year again. Stage Coach Theater is rehearsing another production of The Rocky Horror Show and they're breaking out the corsets and feather boas. This week they had me take some pictures of the cast for their advertising arm to use in making promotional materials. This is a very fun group of people and I'm looking forward to the show when it opens. The run starts on October 5 and goes through the month to a special performance on the evening of Halloween. I spent the summer documenting the activities of the Idaho Book Artists Guild while they participated in the Artists In Residence program in downtown Boise. They put up displays of innovative books and held multiple workshops teaching passing members of the public fun book projects. They also dedicated part of their space to their mentor Tom Trusky. It was a very fun project and it was great to see what they came up with each month for the First Thursday Gallery Stroll.

There's a local small theater group that likes to work with the local libraries to provide entertainment to the community. This time around they compiled some dramatic reading targeted more towards a grown up audience. The results were both heart warming and hilarious.

This comedy is based on the Hitchcock movie of the same name and I'm told shares many of the same plot points and many of the same lines. However something has gone hilariously wrong and this production becomes the living definition of side splitting laughter. It's a brilliant performance by four gifted actors under a masterful director. So you can well imagine just how much fun I had shooting these pictures.
