Boise Little Theater: It's A Wonderful Life

 

I had the great opportunity to shoot the cast of It's A Wonderful Life at Boise Little Theater and it was a lot of fun.  The interesting twist to this production is that it's performed as a radio play.  So you see actors changing characters in front of the micro phone and the sound effects man hard at work in the background.  It's a really great show and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

 

Head Shots: Jon and Chris

Jon and Chris are two actors who needed fresh head shots for a special audition that they had coming it.  So it was fortuitous that my portrait special was going on and will continue until the end of December.  The photo sessions were quick and easy and they were very satisfied with the results.  So break a leg guys on your audition!

Story Story Night: Haunting

I've been so busy lately that this post has been a few week waiting to get into the blog.  But for photography, busy is a good thing.  Story Story Night is back in its usual space, The Rose Room in downtown Boise.  They had a very nice big crowd show up.  And there were some new technical features.  They used a digital projector to shine a gobo of their logo on the back of the stage. During the show they used the projector as a spot light and that had mixed results.  While it was great to get more light on the Rose Room stage, the projector put a grid across the speakers.  But this is something new and it may take a few tries to get the best results.  Otherwise the pictures turned out pretty well and it was a very entertaining evening.

Boise Little Theater: Getting Away With Murder

I seem to be on a roll for doing theater photography.  This is my first time working for Boise Little Theater.  It was fun as they have a great facility with a lot more lighting than the others I've worked with.  This show was a fun suspense thriller with a great cast.  So they were great to shoot.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.
