I was commisioned by the city of Meridian to shoot their holiday parade. It was certainly challenging to shoot a moving parade in the dark. The fog was another interesting factor. I later jokingly described this more as an art project than a documentary shoot. Still, I got some very interesting pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Story Story Night: November
It's back to the regular season for Story Story Night but this year we have a new venue. Now we are at the El Korah Shriner's Temple. It's a really nice place with a lot of history. The really nice thing is the place was packed. Fortunately there was carpeted space along the sides of the room for the overflow seating. The stories were great this time and it all was a lot of fun.

My First Cover Photo
This is really cool. We did this fun photo shoot hoping to make the cover of a new magazine. It was kind of a group effort as everyone tossed around ideas. I was pretty pleased that my favorite photo from the shoot made the cover of the premier issue. Let's hope I get another opportunity like this again.

Boise Little Theater: Ken Ludwig's Twas The Night Before Christmas
There's a new Christmas play at Boise Little Theater that opens next week. It looks like another fun one with some of the actors playing multiple roles. This is a great bunch of people and it was a pleasure to work with them. This will be another one not to miss.

Starry Story Night
It's the beginning of a new season for Story Story Night. Once again they launched with an event called Starry Story Night. This is where they have local notable people get up and tell stories based on a theme. This time the theme was Curious. The story tellers were inventor of the Furby Caleb Chung, young adult fiction author Kristiana Gregory, executive director of the Idaho Conservation League Rick Johnson, songwriter and musician Phil Roy and dance innovator and co-founder of the Trey McIntyre Project John Michael Schert. The space was donated by Boise Contemporary Theater and it was performed for a sold out house. This was great event and I was glad to participate in shooting it. Next month we'll start up in a new location.
