Here's another installment of the pictures from the musical Rent. I'm calling it part two even though it looks like part one. That's because we shot act two first and now here's the pictures from act one. This has turned into my largest photo project ever and I'm still editing pictures. But I think it's worth it since the show has consistently sold out and they extended the run by a week. So this has been a very wonderful endeavor.

Stage Coach Theatre: Rent, Part One
This project has been a lot of fun. Rent has become a huge show and they've sold out so much that they've extended the run by an extra weekend. That almost never happens. Another interesting bit is that like any well directed musical, there's a grand tableau or interesting image filling the stage every other minute. As a result, this is just some of the results of my first photo shoot with the cast. We only got half way through. This weekend I'll be working with these fun people to capture the rest of the show. I hope you enjoy these pictures.

JUMP construction
I thought it was time to reveal a project that I've been working on for a couple of years now. It's documenting the construction of Jack's Urban Meeting Place, or JUMP. It's kind of a conference center/museum/cultural center type place that being built to remember JR Simplot, one of Idaho's leading entrepreneurs. It's taking quite a long time to construct but that's probably because the place is huge. It's going to have lots of underground parking plus big buildings and a park like atmosphere on top. So it's been interesting to see it develop and I'm sure it's going to get a lot more fun to photograph as it takes shape. So for a few years now I've been shooting from the same spot on top of a parking garage overlooking the site. We'll see what happens next.
