Light Painting

Here's an especially fun post.  We decided to play around with light painting or more to the point in this case, light drawing.  My photo walk partner Austin and I found a large dark room in which to play around with long exposures with our cameras and tools to light up the space.  First we started out with light sticks and then used a mini mag light in candle mode to do some drawing.  We also used a bit of fishing line to attach the glow sticks and the mag light to the ceiling to get some of the effects.  Austin has been studying the Japanese language this semester and so at one point he drew a Kanji character.  I hope you enjoy the results.  It was so much fun, we want to try it again to see what we can cook up.
